Análisis Fílmico is a free, interactive film-analysis studio built on a real university cinematography text.
Film analysis is the reasoned study of a movie: breaking it into its parts — conflict, characters, narrative structure, editing, symbolism and global interpretation — to understand how it is built and what it means. It is the core tool of film criticism and of studying cinema at university.
This interactive studio turns that task into a guided process of eleven acts and forty-eight fields, based on the cinematography text by M.Sc. Ramón Fernández Reyes. You enter a film and build a complete film-analysis worksheet, step by step, ready to export and submit.

Film analysis concepts
- The synopsis in filmA synopsis is the complete account of a film in a few sentences, with a beginning, middle and end — including how it resolves.
- Characters and superobjectivesA superobjective is what a character wants most throughout the entire film: the overarching goal that drives every decision they make.
- Film conflictConflict is the clash between what the protagonist wants and what stands in the way; without that clash there is no film.
- Antagonistic forcesAntagonistic forces are everything that opposes the protagonist: they can be human, non-human (the environment, fate) or internal (their own fears).
- The premise and the ethical premiseThe premise is the central idea or message the audience takes from a film, expressed in a single sentence; the ethical premise adds its moral or value.
- Underlying contextUnderlying context is the hidden messaging beneath the story: political, social, religious or commercial ideas tied to the era in which the film was made.
- Narrative structureNarrative structure is the order in which a story is told: linear, with time jumps, in parallel, as a choral fresco, or a combination of several.
- ContinuityContinuity is the coherence with which image, story and editing flow without illogical jumps that pull the viewer out of the film.
